NEW UPDATES

If a parent volunteer ghost check is not turned-in by the due date, and the player is removed from the team roster, then the registration money paid will be refunded. The mandatory ticket fundraiser also paid for at registration, will not however be refunded.

Recreational team parents are required to work the scoreboard and scorebook at the scorer's table for every Home game. This DOES NOT count towards the 2-hours parent volunteer time commitment required at the concession stand and admission table during the regular season.

two 2-hour volunteer time commitment from every registered players' parent/guardian is required each youth basketball season. This is typically limited to Recreational regular season game days in January and February at our home gym hosting games that day working the admission table, or concession stand.

You can complete this in 1-hour time slots in as few or as many game days as you prefer across the Recreational regular season.

Once the volunteer commitment is completed (per player), you can request to get your ghost check back the next week, or have it shredded. If your concession stand duty is not completed by the end of the season, the check will be cashed by RYBA. If the check bounces or is unable to be cashed for any reason, then it is your responsibility to fix this and provide appropriate funds to RYBA or there will be a hold put on your registration account in the following season(s).
